Login to Your WHMCS Panel:
- Go to the GermanVPS.com website and log into the WHMCS client area using your credentials.

Access the VPS Management Section:
- Once logged in, navigate to the section where your active services or VPS are listed.
- Click on the VPS whose hostname you want to change. This will open the VPS management page.

Find the Hostname Option:
- In the VPS management interface, click on "Setup" and than on "change hostname"

Change the Hostname:
- In the hostname field, enter the new hostname you wish to assign to your VPS. Ensure that the new hostname follows the correct format:
- Must be a fully qualified domain name (FQDN), e.g.,
server.example.com

Save the Changes:
- After entering the new hostname, click on the Save button to apply the changes.

Reboot the VPS (if required):
- If prompted or if the hostname doesn’t update immediately, go back to the VPS management page and use the Reboot option.

Verify the Change:
- Once the VPS reboots, you can verify the new hostname by logging into the server and running:
hostname
- Alternatively, in many panels, the new hostname will also appear in the VPS management dashboard.

Additional Notes:
- If the custom portal interface doesn’t show a direct option for changing the hostname, you may need to use SSH or another management tool provided by GermanVPS to manually update the hostname.
- Make sure the new hostname is DNS resolvable and properly configured if you plan to use it for services or domain-related tasks.
