Using DNS in your Plesk interface involves managing your domain's DNS settings. Here’s how you can do it:
-
Log into Plesk: Access your Plesk control panel using your admin credentials.
-
Select the Domain: Go to the "Websites & Domains" tab. Here, you’ll see a list of your domains. Click on the domain for which you want to manage DNS.
-
DNS Settings: Look for the "DNS Settings" option. Click on it to view the current DNS records.
-
Manage DNS Records:
- Add Record: To add a new DNS record, click on the "Add Record" button. You can choose the type of record (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.) and fill in the required details.
- Edit Record: To modify an existing record, click on the record you want to edit, make the necessary changes, and then save.
- Delete Record: If you want to remove a record, select it and click on the "Remove" button.
-
Update and Apply Changes: After making changes, you may need to click on the "Update" button to apply them. Plesk may also provide an option to "Synchronize" DNS if your DNS is managed externally.
-
Check DNS Propagation: After making changes, keep in mind that DNS changes can take some time to propagate across the internet.
-
DNS Zone Management: If you have specific requirements, you can also manage the entire DNS zone from this section.
If you need more specific instructions based on the type of record or other details, feel free to ask!
